Day 1: Guwahati to Tenga (7-Hour Drive, 1600m)
Begin your birding journey with a scenic 7-hour drive from Guwahati to Tenga, enjoying birdwatching stops along the way. Marvel at the stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity.
Overnight: Tenga Market (1600m)
Day 2: Tenga to Dirang (Full Day Birding via Shergaon Road & Mandala)
After breakfast, set out for Dirang, taking the scenic Shergaon Road, known for its spectacular views and excellent birding opportunities. Explore the Mandala region, rich in Himalayan species.
Overnight: Dirang (1600m)
Day 3: Dirang to Sela Pass (4500m) – Full Day Birding
Drive to the awe-inspiring Sela Pass at 4500m, where the higher altitude offers access to rare bird species. Spend the day birdwatching before returning to Dirang in the evening.
Overnight: Dirang (1700m)
Day 4: Dirang to Tenga (Full Day Birding in Mandala)
Today, head back to Tenga with a full day of birding around the Mandala area, known for its bird diversity and spectacular natural beauty.

Day 5: Tenga – Lama Camp (45-Minute Drive, Full Day Birding)
A short drive takes you to Lama Camp, where you’ll spend the day birdwatching in this vibrant and biodiverse region. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and incredible species sightings.

Day 6: Tenga to Bomphu Camp (Full Day Birding, 1600m)
Embark on a drive to Bomphu Camp, where you will spend the day birding in the surrounding forests and hills. Bomphu is a prime birding destination, offering sightings of many Himalayan species.
Overnight: Bomphu Camp (1600m)
Day 7: Full Day Birding near Bomphu and Sesni
Continue your birdwatching adventure at Bomphu and nearby Sesni. These areas are rich in biodiversity and home to many unique bird species.
Overnight: Bomphu Camp (1700m)
Day 8: Bomphu to Kaziranga (Morning Birding at Lower Khellong)
After a morning birding session at Lower Khellong, drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its wildlife. The park’s varied ecosystems make it a paradise for birders.
Overnight: Kaziranga (200m)
Day 9: Kaziranga National Park (Safari)
Start the day with a safari in the central zone of Kaziranga, home to a variety of bird species and wildlife, including the one-horned rhinoceros. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring the surroundings.

Day 10: Kaziranga to Guwahati Airport (4-5 Hour Drive)
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati Airport, concluding your remarkable 10-day birding journey through the Eastern Himalayas.
